Garlic....about 70 % proof today, (great curry last night... 3 dishes, used a whole bulb. Take that Edward Cullen!!) ... Well were in the STL the other day, were just finalising things... as you do. Just one observation, the view from there is soooo good when the weather's good, but to see it means we are stuck inside in a hot sweaty studio... So another week... and so great to be back on stage recently (Friday 27 May, Voices for Christchurch). BTW great work by the other acts, good work guys and girls!!
So the news is November... it's going to be one memorable month (all being well), pushed play, on its way/in a belly something grows = to sleep deprivation (criptic eh!).
SO as the only real learned one in this rabble of musos (well, I watch Discovery channel) feel it's my duty to educate....so my (interesting is so subjective) fact and link to Poppydust this blog is 'Mr Mojo Risin' featured in the Doors song LA Woman is an anagram of Jim Morrison... who is buried in Pere-Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. Along with some note worthy others Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde and including not so world renown but important nonetheless Jean Moulin (meaning windmill), a french Hero and resistance fighter in WWII, who disappeared and his ashes (well they think they were his) were buried in Lachaise until 1964 when they were moved to the Pantheon, on the trip there ironically they would have probably passed the Moulin Rouge (Red windmill)... which was the basis of Baz Lehrmanns take on just about everything including Orphean myth, La Boheme and Verdis La Traviata... Anyhow, the sound track for the movie was written by Martin Brown....thus linking to Poppydust, who have a member with the same name and well poppies are Red, so a link though ever so slightly nebulous. See you in 6 weeks.
